Often when I meet people who've never tried yoga, they tell me that they don't think they could "do it" because they're not flexible enough. To which I usually answer "but you do know how to breathe, right? Then that's the hardest part sorted".
Vinyasa is breathing with movement. And if you practice an asana sequence without placing your breath, this is not yoga, this is working out or stretching. So breathing is equally - if not more - important to your practice than the physical - movement - aspect of it. What yoga taught me
